Gary Guseinov

Chairman of the Board / Chief Executive Officer


A seasoned technology-marketing executive, Guseinov founded web development and e-commerce firm Digital Media in 1994, where he served as the chief executive officer. When Digital Media merged with Synergy, Guseinov served as the President. During his tenure at Synergy he generated over $2 billion in revenues for its clients including GoToMyPC/Citrix, Oracle, Chase, Nortel, HP, Bank of America, and CitiBank. He holds a BS in Psychology and Business from Cal State University Northridge.

Igor Barash

Chief Information Officer


Barash co-founded CyberDefender Corporation with Chief Executive Officer Gary Guseinov in 2003. An expert in Internet hosting technologies and infrastructure implementation and design, Barash developed and grew the Internet hosting infrastructure for HostPro Internet Services, one of the largest Internet Service Providers in the world. He was pivotal in the firm's acquisition by Micron and after managing the integration of the two firms, he provided due diligence of three subsequent acquisitions.

Kevin Harris

Chief Financial Officer


Harris joined the Company as its CFO on January 1, 2009. Prior to working for CyberDefender, Harris served as the Chief Operating Officer for Statmon Technologies Corp. (OTCBB: STCA). Additionally, Harris has worked as the Senior Vice President of Finance for RKO Pictures, LLC, Finance and Controller for Pop.com, LLC, and Director - Corporate Financial Planning at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc. Harris began his career with KPMG and is a licensed CPA in the State of California.


Steve Okun

Chief Revenue Officer


Steve Okun has over twenty years of senior-level sales, marketing and business development experience. He joined the company from LeadPoint, the first lead generation exchange marketplace, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development and was a founding member of the management team. Mr. Okun also held the position of Vice President of Global Sales at Commission Junction, the largest pay-for-performance affiliate network, where he was responsible for leading the growth of the company's U.S. and International sales and account management teams. He served as a member of the Executive Committee before the Company was sold to ValueClick (VLCK). Earlier in his career, Okun served in senior management roles at several Internet-related B2C software technology companies including Success Learning Systems, a Web-based training and educational products company that he founded and led as President. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Raffi Simonian

VP of E-Commerce


Raffi Simonian has been involved in the technology field for the past 25 years. He started his career at Bechtel Corporation as a software engineer and has led large and small groups of software developers at such companies as SQRiBE Technologies (later acquired by Oracle), The Walt Disney Company, DeskTalk (later acquired by HP), Candle Corporation (later acquired by IBM), SeeBeyond (later acquired by Sun Microsystems) and Xdrive where he was the VP of Engineering before its acquisition by AOL in July 2005. At AOL, Raffi was responsible for all aspects of software development for Xdrive, BlueString and AOL Pictures managing teams in the US, India and Europe. Raffi has taught technology courses at CSUN and UCLA since 1987. He has also done software consulting and training at Northrop Grumman, UCLA and Paramount Pictures. Raffi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Math/Computer Science from UCLA and an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University.

Brian Yoder

VP of Engineering and Threat Research


Brian Yoder has been building software products for over 30 years. As an early member of the Peter Norton Computing/Symantec (SYMC) team, he initiated the original Norton AntiVirus product and was on the teams that developed all of the classic Norton applications such as Norton Utilities, Norton Commander, and Norton Desktop. At Earthlink (ELNK), Mr. Yoder was a technical architect who helped take the company from a regional player to the second-largest ISP in the country, designing many of its key carrier class services and client technologies. His many years of experience building mass-market commercial applications spans many technology platforms including Windows, Unix, Macintosh, and mobile devices promises to be instrumental in extending our customer reach into these areas.
